The beach just 850 yards from the campsite (800 meters)


Between Biarritz and Saint Jean de Luz, discover the Basque Country's magnificent cliffs overlooking the coastal beaches.  Bidart in particular has lovely hidden beaches, of which one of the most beautiful is...the Royal Pavillon Beach located 850 yards from the camping.

All you have left to do is put on your swimsuit and enjoy body surfing, boogie boarding, surfing, kitesurfing and other board sports... or just simply swimming or kicking back on the beach.

A surf school inside the campsite


It's quite exceptional that the campsite has a surf school, called the "Lagoondy", located right on our premises.

From end of March to end of October, the surf camp provides beginner and advanced classes as well as boogie boarding lessons in a region known for having the best "spots" on the Atlantic Coast.

Ilbarritz camping is also surfers' paradise!
